The Torii of Itsukushima Shrine is a 16 metre high red painted cedar wood sculpture that is located near Hiroshima in Japan. The Shrine was originally built in the 6th century and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. This shrine is dedicated to the daughters of the Shinto God of the seas and storms and to the brother of Sun Goddess.
